How Marketing works

  1. 01

    A customer list with tags

CSV in and out. Segments you can actually use.

  2. 02

    Content on a calendar

Not a caption that only lives in a draft chat.

  3. 03

    You still send it

Drafts and coupons live on the desk. You send when you are ready.

Who Marketing is for

  • Owners who keep customers in a phone book.
  • Businesses that run the occasional promo.
  • Teams on Solo+ that want Maya to draft, not to blast.

What Marketing is not

  • Not HubSpot or a standalone CRM.
  • Not an ads or blast product.
  • Not on Free or Basic.

How owners use Marketing

A salon with regulars

Customers go into the list with tags like regular or bridal, imported from a CSV if the names already sit in a spreadsheet. Before a festive promo, the owner builds a segment and creates a coupon with a public code the counter can honour. Maya can answer who has the regular tag before the promo starts.

A home-based food seller

Post ideas sit on the content calendar instead of a draft chat. Maya drafts captions, and the seller edits them and posts on social media herself. For a promo, the coupon and its public code are created in Marketing, so the post and the order use the same code.

A tuition centre

Parents are tagged by subject or level, so the centre knows which parents to contact about a new class. The list exports as a CSV when it is needed elsewhere, and the centre sends the message itself. Maya can answer who is in a segment, such as all Form 5 parents.

Marketing questions

Is Marketing on Free or Basic?

No. Marketing is not on Free or Basic. It unlocks on Solo (RM79 a month) and is included on Micro and Small. Solo has a 30-day trial.

What does Maya do in Marketing?

Maya works from your customer list, content calendar and coupons. She answers who is in a tag or segment, drafts captions you send yourself and helps create segments and coupons with public codes. Each ask uses credits. At zero credits she pauses, and the customer list stays in place.

Does Marketing send blasts or run ads?

No. Marketing is not an ads or blast product, and it does not send through messaging APIs. Drafts and coupons live on the desk, and you send them when you are ready.

How many customers can I keep in the list?

It depends on the plan: 500 on Solo, 2,000 on Micro and 10,000 on Small. You can import and export the list as a CSV.

Is it a full CRM like HubSpot?

No. It is a customer list with tags, segments, a content calendar and coupons, built for a small business that runs the occasional promo. It is not a standalone CRM.
